BttPay supports USD, GBP, EURO and other currencies but settlement is in Singapore Dollars (SGD)

What is the requirement to setup a high risk merchant account with BttPay

The requirement is very standard from any other payment processor. All we need are as per below.

  2. Clear scan copy of directors and shareholders national id or passport
  3. Latest 3 months utility bill
  4. Latest 3 months bank statement
  5. A working website
  6. Refund policy
  7. Privacy policy
  8. Terms and conditions

Is there any deposits involved?

Our Aggregated Merchant Account is FREE. There is however a security deposit that will be collected upfront to setup your dedicated merchant account. The fee ranges from USD 1000 – USD 5000. The fee ranges depends on your business nature and your chargeback frequency history. We might also waived this off for high transacting merchants with a clean record.

When can I start accepting payment after signing up?

You can start transacting within 24 hours after approval from our compliance team.

What is your payout frequency?

All payouts on the 1st month of transactions will be disbursed on the 7th to 15th of the following month after clearing the chargeback report by the issuing banks for all your transactions.

What are the solutions BttPay provide for integration?

You can integrate your website using our shopping cart plugins, API integration or our payment buttons.

Can i resell to other merchants my merchant account?

No. This will be a breach in our terms and conditions and your account will be suspended immediately.

Can I be BttPay partner?

What are the types of High Risk business you accept?

Our list of high rsk merchants accepted are tech support, forex, binary currency, telemarketer, travel industry and MLM.

What is a Merchant Agreement?

A merchant agreement is a legally binded contract that needs to be signed and agreed by you prior to have BttPay as your payment processor.

What is a chargeback?

A chargeback occurs when a customer disputes a transaction with their banks for an unauthorised use of a credit card charged.

If I do not have a website, can I still use BttPay as my online payment gateway?

Unfortunately, we would need a working business website to validate your products that you sell to ensure that we abide to the anti-money laundering act.

How long should i wait for my payout?

All payouts on the 1st month of transactions will be disbursed on the 7th to 15th of the following month after clearing the chargeback report by the issuing banks for all your transactions.

How will i get paid?

You will be paid straight to your bank account that you have configured in your merchant centre.

Do you have any holdback fees

Yes, We would hold 10-20% from your monthly sales as a collateral to safeguard any chargeback or disputes occurrence. However, the holdback will increase if there is any chargeback occurrence.

Why is my account suspended?

Your account will be suspended or even terminated if there are too many occurrence of disputes, chargeback or refunds. We follow very strictly policy on regards to disputes and chargebacks and strongly do not condone to acts of fraud.
